Company History
Innovative Fiber Optic Solutions (iFiber) was founded in August of 2001 in Dayton, Ohio with the vision to build a truly competitive metropolitan Ethernet network. As the first graduate of the Dayton Entrepreneur Center, the Company was recruited to Middletown, Ohio to service enable the Butler County Fiber Optic Initiative. Working with the county, iFiber achieved its vision to build a competitive communication network to serve the region.
iFiber has leveraged its assets and expertise to benefit the SW Ohio regional schools by networking them together for shared resources and lower costs. As a result, iFiber is now servicing companies in five counties in Southwestern Ohio. In April 2005 the Company was restructured with new ownership and management with a focus to drive economic development and competitive communications through the application of advanced technologies.

Robert "Bob" Olding
President
Bob comes from a long history in communications and is iFiber's principle architect. Bob provides long range strategic direction while guiding the company in new and innovative areas. Under Bob's direction, iFiber is currently expanding its fiber and wireless network making affordable communications solutions available to those who haven't had access previously.
Christopher Scheper
Senior Network Engineer
Chris was one of the founding members of iFiber. Currently a senior wireless technician, his prior work with data and telco networks combined with experience in creating innovative connections with cutting edge technologies helped iFiber build its first core network.
